Every January/February, China goes through its major travel season for the year, the Spring Festival Peak Travel Season, otherwise known as Chunyun. Since 2010, David has taken a close look at the event, and since 2013, has been featured in media, staying active through this travel season.
每逢一月/二月，中國大部分民眾將會乘搭列車、航機、客運汽車等，並於農曆除夕前回到家鄉。隨這旅途開始，每年「春運」即拉開序幕。由 2010 年起，馮琰密切留意這一巨大人口遷移，而由 2013 年起，則透過媒體活動與採訪等，留意這一時段。
Chunyun 2024 | 2024 年春運
David is going to be busy for Chunyun 2024 — the first genuinely post-Covid travel rush. With testing, Covid passes, quarantine, and even the obligatory mask mandate gone, people will be headed to their homes in China as, in actual fact, the temperatures rise.
馮琰將會於 2024 年春運格外活躍。這即是由 2019 冠狀病毒疫情大流行以首次「正常」春運，而乘客毋需涉疫病毒檢測、健康碼、隔離，甚至於強制配戴口罩，而民眾將正逢氣溫再升時歸返家鄉。
